There is an entire class of attacks that can be quickly identified in real-time through transaction patterns yet are not being responded to right now.
Security is a "hair on fire" problem for the crypto ecosystem. In 2022 alone, over $2B has been lost to hacks & exploits. The open-source nature of smart contracts + significant assets under management makes them prime targets for hackers. Today's existing security solutions (e.g., pre-deployment audits, post-deployment simulations, post-attack alerts) fail to sufficiently solve this problem.
We view dynamic, preventative security infrastructure that protects protocols & dApps in real-time as the market's future. Anomaly is making this happen, similar to Palo Alto Networks / CrowdStrike / Cloudflare in web2.
We’ve raised $3.5M+ led by Quiet Capital and several top crypto angels to execute this vision.
What is Anomaly?
Anomaly offers tail risk mitigation as a service. We know statistically that preventing your very worst day as a protocol is equivalent to containing 90% of all days by value. At Anomaly, we offer strong guarantees so that if your protocol is experiencing a catastrophic event, we can automatically lock it down. For example, if TVL outflows exceed a certain percentage over the most recent 24 hours, Anomaly can automatically pause your contract.
