About the role:
After gaining traction in the Americas and China markets, we are now looking to expand our reach in Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia . Thus, we are looking to hire a Head of Marketing/ Marketing Lead here in Singapore to lead the efforts in our global expansion. This will be one of our most critical hires and this candidate will be the main person running campaigns and programs here in the region whilst collaborating efficiently with the regional teams.
You will drive our business growth and user acquisition to enable Huafang Group exponential growth in US, Europe Latin America and SEA.
Day to Day:
- Oversee the regional marketing strategy and collaborate with regional teams to ensure targets are met.
- Drive digital marketing such as paid media, performance marketing, social media, etc. in order to achieve the desired results.
- Manage the marketing team of our popular video chat social app, Hay. With various app growth methods, help the app acquire users at a low cost and large scale.
- Acquire new users through collaborations with influencers on various social media platforms such as Tiktok, Youtube etc to launch campaigns to grow the user base of the app.
- With the goal of user acquisition, we will continue to optimize the overall user acquisition cost of the marketing team and improve the quality and quantity of users.
- Set and manage the budget and allocation of the team
What you'll bring:
- At least 7 years of digital marketing experience, and more than 3 years of team management experience. We market our app globally, and have an emphasis on the United States and Europe. Preferred experience targeting users in our emphasized regions.
- Prior working experience working with social media influencers to acquire users for digital products.
- Experience collaborating and negotiating business with influencers, and sometimes Gen-Z micro-influencers at scale. Ability to design a workflow for the team to streamline the process of marketing through influencers.
- Familiarity with content policies of major social media platforms such as Tiktok and Youtube. Acute sense towards content virality.
- In-depth understanding of media planning, negotiation, implementation and performance analysis.
- Time management and problem-solving skills and proficiency in managing numbers.
- Entrepreneurial collaborative professional who appreciates working in a team atmosphere, exhibits calmness when faced with competing high-priority projects and difficult decisions. Strong ability to deal with change and navigate ambiguity.
- Exemplary communication skills – strong proficiency in English written and spoken language a must. Proficiency in chinese language will be advantageous.
